Hot Chocolate and Prune Pudding

Ingredients
- 60g butter
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup Angas Park Pitted Prunes, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
Sauce
- 100g chocolate
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup sugar
Method
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Stir through flour, cocoa and prunes. Add milk and mix well.
- Sauce: Place chocolate, water and sugar in a saucepan and stir until chocolate melts. Pour into a 6-cup pudding dish. Place cake mixture on top.
- Bake in a pre-heated moderately slow oven (150ºC-170ºC) for 50-60 minutes. Serve hot with cream.
