The date is the fruit of the date palm which flourishes in dry tropical countries. Trufruit dates, like all dried fruits, are low in fat and cholesterol free; they’re also a source of dietary fibre and iron.  Dates are used extensively in Middle Eastern cooking and can be eaten as a snack or added to cakes, scones, puddings, salads, savoury rice dishes, jams and chutneys.

Storage Conditions

Recommended to store in a cool, dry, clean and well-ventilated environment away from strong odours. Ideal storage temperature is between 10–15 degrees Celsius, with relative humidity below 50%.
