Meet Liz Cremasco.
Liz has been a prune grower for the past 33 years. Growing up on a small horticulture farm in the Riverina near Hanwood. When she married her husband Peter, she moved to grow prunes and wine grapes near Yenda, also in the Riverina. Liz has spent many seasons in the shed, managing the drying process, which is a critical step to producing high-quality prunes and was recognised with Angas Park awarding Liz and Peter the 2019 Grower of the Year award.
Liz enjoys prunes in smoothies, in brownies and just as a snack. She makes as delicious chocolate, prune and chilli tart and she really likes prunes soaked in gin.
