Poached Pears in a Caramel Red Wine Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 x 200g packets Angas Park Dried Pears
Method
- Place butter and sugar in a large saucepan and cook over medium heat until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
- Add red wine, cinnamon and pears and cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until syrup starts to thicken.
- Serve with cream or ice-cream.
