Pork with Spiced Apple Sauce

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 200g Angas Park Dried Apples, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cups water
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- pinch chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 x pork butterfly steaks
Method
- Place apples, onion, water, vinegar and spices in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Cover and leave for 5 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. When hot add pork and fry for 2-3 minutes each side or until cooked. Cover with foil and leave to rest.
- Place apple sauce in a food processor and process until chunky. Serve with pork.
Serves 4
